Preventive Care Services
Preventive care services are the most important services we provide.
Preventive care begins with a comprehensive oral exam, which includes
a panoramic x-ray, oral cancer screening, a jawbone, muscle, and
bite evaluation, a TMJ joint exam, and a periodontal (gum) disease
evaluation. The periodontal evaluation will determine what type
of cleaning is needed based on the health of your gums. Healthy
gums are the foundation of achieving optimal oral health. We'll
also ask about your medical history, take blood pressure, when indicated, and uncover
any general health issues that could potentially relate back to
your oral health.
