Meet Dr. Morgan Williams
Morgan Williams, DMD
Dr. Williams was actually inspired to become a dentist by our very own Dr. Albert Payne, his involvement in the community, and the way he cares for his patients. She saw dentistry as an opportunity to also give back to the local community she loves – and she’s never regretted her career choice for a second! Today, what she enjoys most about this type of work is getting to interact with patients so closely and partner with them as they work towards unique goals. She also likes the fact that oral healthcare is constantly changing and requires being a lifelong learner. She’s always eager to discover the latest advancements and pass on those benefits to the people she treats.
Dr. Williams’ college career started at Averett University, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and History & Politics. From there, she pursued her dental doctorate at the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, IL. During dental school, she was accepted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honorary society. Today, she has advanced training in multiple types of dental lasers, as well as digital dentistry with both the CEREC and Planmeca E4D systems. She’s also experienced with microscope-based dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Williams is happily engaged and preparing for a wedding in December of 2020. As for personal hobbies, she really likes collecting antiques, riding bicycles, crafting, and serving as a long-time member of Hope Church. She’s so glad to be back in her favorite city!
