Meet Danville Dentist Dr. Cara Mills

Cara Mills, DMD

Dr. Cara Mills was initially drawn to the dental field because she has always loved working with people and getting to know them. Being a dentist allows her to be social and stay connected to her community, all while providing a positive oral healthcare experience to her patients.

Dr. Mills started her journey at Danville Dental Associates by shadowing dentists and went to East Carolina university for her undergraduate studies. She was a dental assistant for two years before going to East Carolina School of Dental Medicine and earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. She also remains an active member of the American Dental Association.

From Providence, North Carolina, Dr. Mills is engaged and has two dogs that are her children! Whenever she isn’t at the office, you can find her drawing and painting, spending quality time with her family and dogs, and listening to music. A couple must-knows about Dr. Mills is that she loves animals and adopted both of her dogs, and she always has some sound on in the background no matter what she’s doing!
