(more…)The doctors and staff of Danville Dental Associates recently showed their appreciation for the tireless work of SOVAH Health – Danville’s “Superheroes,” the front-line healthcare workers that have been caring for patients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, by handing out breakfast to 500 of its employees. “We at Danville Dental Associates are incredibly appreciative of those who have been on the frontline dealing with the worst of this pandemic.” said our newest associate, Dr. Morgan Williams. “A single meal does not even begin to express our gratitude, but we hope that we were able to brighten the day of everyone that stopped by. We are honored to be a part of this community and are so thankful for all of it’s heroes.”

It was another great night with the Braves! This year we partnered with Go-Docs and had 647 people come to the Danville Braves Night.
We had a tug-of-war against the Danville Police Department, which we lost. (Participants were: Dr. Nikki Hartline, Dr. Andrew Hessler, Dr. Thomas White, Dr. Austin Moon, Lisa Perez and Teresa Cook). We did not eat our wheaties that morning and we were no match for the muscle the Danville Police Department.
Our newest doctor, Dr. Austin Moon, threw out the first pitch of the game and also entertained everyone as Molar Man. Danville Dental is looking forward to another night with the Braves in 2020! See you there
Our fun day would not have been possible without our amazing volunteers! Our helpers were Melinda Dalton, Marty Norton, Kristen Clarke, Haley Goins and Teresa Cook. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
On April 27th, Danville Dental Associates reached out to the community to support our area students with a project called “Smile for Schools”. This event assists schools by offering at-home bleaching kits, regularly valued at $399, for a $100 donation to be given to the patient’s designated school of choice. These included public or private schools; primary, middle or high schools; and special needs schools in Danville City and Pittsylvania County areas.
This year, 33 patients participated providing a combined donation of $3,300 to the schools.
At Danville Dental Associates we want our youngest patients to know the importance of good oral health. February is National Children’s Dental Health Month – an occasion celebrated by dentists across the country. Dentists and staff from Danville Dental Associates are passionate about giving back to the community and provide presentations to help children understand the steps to good oral hygiene.
